On the DEWLine 2.0: Dwight Williams

Today's video tutorial study plan:

1. Wrap up my opening studies of Balsamiq
2. Resume studies of Adobe InDesign
3. Make time to practice with various features of Clip Studio Paint. Possibly practice designing a brush for use in my own illustration projects. Also possibly, just drawing stuff in general.

Moving along...making some progress.

One of the other things I'm doing to get my skills back to speed has been practicing with Clip Studio Paint (formerly Manga Studio). One such project was a response to all those damned meme-pix of Batman slapping Robin. I hate seeing that image being repeated over and over, and for all the problems of swapping in the Joker for Robin that I'm sure are obvious...why not one of the villains instead of Bruce's first-adopted?( Violent art under the cut )

Clearly, as a colourist, I am never going to be in Laura Martin's league.

Trying to install some page templates in Clip Studio Paint (formerly Manga Studio). Not finding the how-to guide very quickly.

More practice time with Manga Studio today. Actually feels like I'm getting somewhere with this. It's slow, but that's alright.

...specifically Dominic from Da Vinci's Inquest/Da Vinci's City Hall, not Leonardo, right now.

(Although Leonardo's making for a fun read as a fictionalized action hero in Marvel's SHIELD as written by Jonathan Hickman right now. More on that another time!)
