And while I'm promoting Spacing's online content...here's something on the alleyways of Montréal. I can't take credit for it...but I can use it as a springboard to ask about the alleyways of your cities and towns.

Just to show you how it looked coming into town on the train from Ottawa.

That's the general neighbourhood for next year's WorldCon, Anticipation. The main hotel, the Montréal Delta, is north of that building by what looks to be a block or two.

Later this morning, before Con*Cept resumes, I hope to climb Mount Royal.

I'm in Montréal tonight. It's a bit of looking for work, a bit of networking, a bit of vacation all rolled into one trip this weekend, with Con*Cept now underway. A whole bunch of good and entertaining people are either here in the neighbourhood or will be shortly. Only some will be officially listed on the convention's website.

It is ever thus, is it not?

I've already heard from vonandmoggy and savageknight about the Dawson College "incident" via their own blogs, and I'm waiting to hear back from a couple of other friends of mine.

Dammit.

Here's hoping this is the last time Montréal has to put up with this sort of thing for many, many years.
