On the DEWLine 2.0: Dwight Williams

I've been reminded that - per the movie of the same name - it's the anniversary of Zefram Cochrane's first warp flight aboard the Phoenix and the officially-recognized first contact with the V'Tosh - we call them "Vulcans".

All the Triangle systems from FASATrek are matched up to host stars. There's a couple of neutron stars or singularities or what have you left to decide "altitudes" on the Z-axis for, but that's it for the most part. Maybe I end up adding in things from some of the video games?

Still fiddling with details here and there. The Imperial Klingon States, R'o, Voll, and so on...




Back to work on the day job and stuff for now...

Nailed down four more systems' host stars last night. I'm not entirely happy with the choices, mainly because the catalogue numbers available to use are not short enough and distinct enough. Numbers starting with GAIA DR3, APASS9, SKYM2, 2MASS and so on...and the SIMBAD database is very much a work in progress, perpetually playing catch-up with the new data - or old data finally data-entered after months to years' waiting - as it comes in.

Still moving along in fits and starts, night by night. My spreadsheet of star lists is running to 22 "sheets" in the "notebook" now.

Lots more I want to say about lots of other things, and I need to get to bed.
