A Milestone Never To Be Seen Again

Been getting in more time with the stationary bike these last few days. This was a coincidence of timing. Also, I'm not the first owner of the bike in question.

Happy Goat is a local coffeehouse chain, and their owners probably thought that they got lucky indeed in landing the right to set up mini-storefronts at several of the O-Train stations including Rideau and Blair Stations.

Not sure about that luck now.

I've done volunteer duty from time to time with OIWF over the decades, promoted it over on Flickr (even when the guest of one evening or another later turned out to be not the best sort of human being), and I am still on good and friendly terms with the organizers.

Seeing this problem sprung on them, as it's been sprung on us all, hurts a lot.

I'll try to keep the word coming on what they're up to.

If It Helps, And I Hope It Does

Right now, as part of my therapy regimen for dealing with these ongoing horror shows, I'm reading and re-reading Timothy Snyder's book On Tyranny. Making note of where I'm doing things that fall into line with one or more of Snyder's recommendations whenever I can remember to do so.

I got in some time between supper and logging in tonight to practice page layouts in Clip Studio Paint. I hope to have something to show later in the week.

We have to have stuff to publish when this mess is closer to done, right?
