Nov. 1st, 2020 06:48 amSo on November 1st, we've "fallen back" re: our clocks in Ontario. I find I am less thrilled with this twice-a-year ritual as the years go by. I woke up at what felt like the usual time to find it was "earlier" than my body and the CPAP machine were willing to admit to.
Two more days, and we'll make some further progress at discovering what kind of future most Americans want for themselves and their country as a whole. And we'll find out what the Mar-A-Lago Malefactor is willing to do to inflict a future he prefers over the objections of the rest of the United States as well, I suppose. We already knew that he considers Mafia dons and dictators to be his role models, just the way his father raised him.
Some of you remarked about my choice of showing you the influential cameras of my life. This was a consequence of my culling project. I have to downsize somewhat because of the changes I currently expect in my housing situation in the weeks, months, maybe years to come. And so, there are attacks of nostalgia my brain is suffering.
Meanwhile, a time of Pandemic does look like the worst possible time to downsize, doesn't it?
At least I seem to be finding time to sketch and write again, despite everything else going on.
Yes, I'm still looking for work. Job alerts subscribed via the federal Job Bank, Workopolis, Jobilico, Indeed, Carleton U, CHEO, several other federal agencies and private firms...
