lonemagpie spoke up...I've meet a few actors, although I doubt any of them would remember me at all. Most of the SF authors, comics creators I've met - some of whom are likely reading this in passing - that might qualify are a bit more accessible and tend to encourage either arm's-length contact or maintain an open channel so as to lessen the "Omigod" Factor of any direct contact. The latter of which seems to work pretty well.
