To the DARC author in question, Canada's continuing autonomy and desire to preserve same is "anti-Americanism". A lot of you who keep in touch with me here are Americans who know far better than "John Waterman" of DARC and their fellow-travellers, thankfully.

Yes, both countries are standing on lands under Indigenous nations' stewardship, and they too rightly have informed opinions of their own on such arguments...

Seriously, until the Mango Mussolini and the Republicans are gone - Canada should look to remain and become more independent. Align more with democratic countries. America has become toxic. It is unreliable as a trade partner or an ally.

I haven't finished the second piece yet, but WOW.

I think Canada has been extremely rational in its actions since our current idiot assumed office last year and I fully support their actions. It's a shame that it's come to this, but we brought it on to ourselves.
