I hate seeing the old methods of communication disappearing--newspapers, landlines, good radio, and more.

This is just one more measure limiting our source of of information to the internet or tv media.

Yep. What's worse is people trusting Facebook for accurate information.

My parent's newspaper, The Arizona Republic, was two. The evening edition, The Phoenix Gazette, disappeared. Then the Republic started shrinking: in two dimensions! Not only is the page count grossly reduced, it is physically a smaller broadsheet.

We're currently paying for the New York Times full edition online (my wife is a crossword junkie), plus Wired, The Atlantic, and Rolling Stone online.
