On the DEWLine 2.0: Dwight Williams

One of our next-door neighbours has two cats as part of the household. One of which likes to sneak under the fence - or over it - and into our yard to hunt. Today, Peanut wasn't about hunting. She was about shedding. And she was noisy about demanding the use of my pant legs as shedding posts.

Today, I was judged by one of the cats next door, and found useful.

Skritches were tolerated.

Regrettably, I have no documentary images of the event.

I've heard and read that today is International Cat Day...?

It is done on buses hereabouts. In properly designed cat-carriers so that the cat can see where their human is taking them.

The one I saw yesterday seemed fairly calm. Opened eyes upon hearing my greeting, but otherwise did not react overmuch to other humans' reactions.
