Not satisfying for me on a personal level

But I might use it to bludgeon some of the curmudgeons who seem incapable of believing the band was important to some people just because they (the curmudgeons) don't happen to think the Hip were a good band.

I read a piece (in The new Yorker, possibly) that compared the Hip to the E Street Band, and the comparison seemed apt, if only because a lot of people care about both, but both leave me pretty cold.
