No one is selling leaded gasoline/petrol for cars anywhere on Earth now. At least, not legally that we know of. Algeria was the last "recognized" country whose gas stations were still selling the stuff, and that finally stopped this year.

We'll still be recovering from the error of having used the stuff for generations, but with each country and company that got out of that business, the resulting damages have been less severe over time.

Switching the world's transportation fleets over to zero-emissions vehicles is a continuing project, of course.

What worries me - especially at the moment - is that Mr. Olive might be correct about the idea that Justin Trudeau is campaigning against himself and his better achievements these past six or seven years right now. I might indeed be paranoid about this for other reasons, but even so...

  • Kept up the job search.
  • Tried to push onward with CPAP acquisition paperwork.
  • Mowed the front lawn.
  • Got some sketchbook time in.
  • Got walking exercise.
  • Updated my Affinity design software.
  • Returned an overdue book to the library without drama.
  • Stayed in touch with family.
  • Stayed in touch with friends.

Adding tonight:

  • Watching an interview of a respected author of political satire (Terry Fallis).
