One More Friday Morning

One of my job applications is now in the reference-checking phase.

I've decided that I need to replace my printer. Tomorrow, because there are cards I want to design, print and send to friends.

Might finally buy new eyeglasses later today, after five years' making do with an outdated 'script'.

Getting back to work on cataloguing my personal library's collections with an eye towards planning out the virtual yard sale AKA the Culling Project.

Other stuff going on, too.

JOB SEARCH: Video Tutorials

Since I scheduled reviews of the material of several video tutorials via Skillport months ago, it seems like a good idea to follow through on that. Today, it's PowerPoint For Web 2020 and For Mac 2011. Probably outdated material, but it makes sense anyway.

Got some books on PHP, Drupal and MySQL yesterday via TrashNothing.com. Yes, likely they're also outdated, but since some of those Skillsoft videos also scheduled for review include those topics, better to study outdated versions of the software than nothing at all and try to fake my way through tests and interviews. Which will probably screw up the application.

Where's a good place in Ottawa to offload a used OfficeJet 7612? Other than Staples?
