Employment: I've checked the job boards at Ottawa City Hall, and am working my way through the job alerts I'm subscribed to via Indeed, Workopolis, Jobilico and the federal job bank. My "job search diary" spreadsheet is now at...a very large number of pages.

Listening to The House on Radio One.

Keeping an eye on what little chatter there is on my favourite Delphi Forums groups these days. I'm not surprised that Facebook took their lunch. Saddened, but not surprised.

Got another mile in on the exercise bike this morning, and I expect to do some vacuuming later. Bank stuff after that, which means travelling because up to now I haven't done the online banking thing.

TREK: Picard Season 1

A quick note: I have seen the entire first season. Heard all the swear words, saw the fancy holo-control designs, got puzzled by the lack of new ship designs, had my heart broken at about 3-4 different points in the story.

Mainly...here's what I said over on Facebook:

Hi. Just finished watching "Et In Arcadia Ego II". I would have sworn that we wouldn't have gotten this ending. And this beginning again.

And yet I have no complaints. I look forward to the consequences, in this series at least. My thanks to those who've put the first season of #StarTrekPicard together, on both sides of the camera, wherever you call home in these worlds.
