Oops! Sorry: while "tangential" is built-in with me, "obtuse" is something I try to avoid. To wit (and to cover both): uBlock Origin is one of the better ad blockers I've run across on the platforms I use. While I'm expounding, I'll also toss in a recommendation for MalwareBytes; that's a real-time AV software that has worked well for me when I need a Windows machine up and running (also Mac when I looked it up just now). ...but I'm thinking that may not relate to your ??? ? So:
Your music tag for this post, Current Music: Future Islands - Coachella 2017 brings up a fun memory for me: I watch Cochella most years as a live stream (and capture it for later enjoyment); Future Islands was one of the day shows in 2017 (day two?) and I enjoyed it enough to comment on it to the youngest as a suggested watch (it's reminiscent of Jon Stewart from days past) as he and I trade playlists routinely.
When he answered me a day later it was to say, "Heck, yes; they were great!" Say what? It turns out he was in the crowd watching things live that day...
Twitter: no help there; this place is pretty much my social media...
On Future Islands though: I like the live stuff; looking through my server here I found this for in lieu of an album (KEXP has a decent list of bands they feature).
Well, that's good for tracking where web sites are being physically hosted. (And why does CBC use US-based server farms these days?) But it doesn't help me use Twitter in ways I consider better for me, right?
