I got more of a sense of "I've been doing my part, you can see it in the report" from him. I've downloaded a copy and been meaning to give it a proper read-through in case there's something Ottawa ought to look into, and to have better-informed conversations with American friends and acquaintances.
Nothing. Like with the Panama Papers. Everyone is waiting for someone to do something but those someones are all waiting for someone else to do something, and nothing ever gets done.
Looking at the Wikipedia profile on the Panama Papers, there's a whole lot of "nothing" that's happened in the past four years. I wonder if we're done with the consequences of that leak playing out yet.

I thought the report was quite clear. He interpreted existing law in one particular way, followed those guidelines, and left the heavy lifting to Congress and provided them with all the information that they needed.
He did his job and I think he did it marvelously well under extreme circumstances and now he's definitely earned his retirement.
