He was from one of the smaller towns, Raymore, and as well travelled as I was in that province before I moved here, I can't say that I'd ever visited there. It doesn't seem to have either a website or a Wikipedia page yet as I write this, as other towns like Elbow, Davidson or Regina Beach do.
So this is another one I've never met. And now I never will. Per the CBC report, he died in a suicide bombing whilst serving with the forces at "CFB Kandahar" in Afghanistan with the 2nd Battalion of the Princess Pats regiment.
