Awwww ... instead of farmers selling to a non-profit near-monopoply that cares for their well-being, they sell to a for-profit near-monopoly that has no interest in their long-term survival.

Yeah. The Wheat Pool as we knew it will have to be rebuilt from scratch, albeit under yet another name as the old one is locked up as someone's now-privately held trademark. This will be the work of at least another decade or two, so I'd advise any farmers of a mind to get that work done should start immediately.
