Twin Media Shocks Today

I guess that this gets filed under "be careful what you wish for" for the entire Canadian political spectrum in terms of shocks to the news services today. Quebecor/Sun Media and TVO alike announced having to take major hits. Details below:

No one should gloat over a downturn in any media, regardless of what you feel about their opinions. It's a reduction in the number of different viewpoints.

I usually watch CTV's news and read four different papers, though one only comes once a week, just to get a balanced view.
