Mr. Doyle wrote another item that I find frighteningly agreeable as grounds for shared concern:

After the CBC...are the museums of Canada next?

I don't know about morals clauses or such, though I'd certainly oppose anything like that. My view is that if my tax dollars must go to fund a network I neither watch or listen to, I'd like to know how the money is being spent.

As far as CBC's concerned, I'm already reading, watching and listening to their stuff on a daily basis. So I'm convinced that I'm getting several peoples' money's worth out of the invested taxes.

As for the museums, I have a few friendly contacts in that field and I really don't want to see them get it in the neck from this government, or any other for that matter.
