Got some stuff I want to clear out of the basement. Some of it's not-so-old SF collectibles, some of it's other books of greater and lesser note, and so forth. Bottom line...

Once you list your stuff, you're committed to giving it up. And you do get to set a minimum acceptable price.

Be aware that many if not most of the bidders in eBay will be far, far away ... and will not appreciate the idea of "come by and pick up the books."

There are alternatives, such as Kijiji (http://ottawa.kijiji.ca/) and FreeCycle (http://www.freecycle.org/group/CA/Ontario/Ottawa%252FGlebe). Both allow you to restrict such a posting to the local area.

Pretty sure that the possibility of the long-distance bidder is part of the plan if I go the eBay route...and possibly with Kijiji as well.
