Yes to all of the above. Although I'm not a Catholic, I certainly recognize the impact the Vatican has, both nationally and internationally. I therefore hope the next pope will also be fairly progressive and perhaps build on Pope Francis's work. I still don't expect to see pink smoke and a female pope in my lifetime, but I guess you never know!
