Sad News: RIP Teletoon

My animation professor at Algonquin, Gerry Paquette confirmed by sending this link to me this afternoon:

Classmates of mine worked on shows for that channel in its early years. We're going to miss it in the forms we've been used to watching it in, I think.

RIP: Gordon Pinsent

So it's finally happened.

I was kind of hoping he'd live just long enough to be in an Alpha Flight movie. I don't know which character would have been a good fit, mind you...

And for the record, I did get to meet him once, at the Magnetic North festival. I thanked him for Bob Fraser (Due South) and Duff McArdle (Power Play).
