Watching the verbal sparring over the changes to Unemployment Insurance between these two on CBC Newsworld. Finley is...not entirely persuasive, in my POV.

Like Evan Solomon acknowledged at Carleton U last night during the Orwell discussion, I too have read "Politics and the English Language". Which might be more important to any discussion of Orwell's work than the diversions into "Newspeak" in 1984.
