Surviving San Diego?

So far, it seems as if everyone I know who's there is surviving well enough. This is good news to me, although I have to admit to being of mixed opinion of the idea of going back for another run myself for a number of reasons I won't go into here(although if you've read my comments on Toronto, you may have several clues).
