I saw flowers still in bloom outside this afternoon.

Also, a groundhog from less than two metres away. We noted each other's existence for a second and moved onward with our respective days.

I live north of Canada... (Wayne County, MI.) and we had snow the last couple of days. Temps got down to hard freeze. I use our outside reading and it sometimes varies a few degrees (F) from the "official" claims. YMMV {:~)

Here in eastern Ottawa-Gatineau, we're still wavering back and forth across the freezing point (0ºC) as of two days after Hallowe'en. And we're a ways east-northeast of Windsor-Detroit.
