Date: 2020-06-23 09:30 am (UTC)(Catalina was macOS 10.15; the minor version numbering was getting beyond silly, because OS X -- X as a Latin numeral, not a letter -- was originally MacOS 10, so Catalina should be MacOS 25 or something. Dropping the X just means they can start changing major numbers again. Kinda like the Perl 6 to Rakudo renaming which unblocked the path forward for Perl 5.20 or so -- Perl 5 being a different language from Perl 6, and still under active development.)

Date: 2020-06-23 02:02 pm (UTC)Me, I've got apps that are not 64-bit that I'm not willing to give up, so I will not be going to MacOS 11 for some time yet. I'm still running Sierra.
