CBC/WEB/TECH: A Small Problem

Their news site pages didn't use to freeze my browser for minutes at a time. Yes, my preferred browser is older than many consider preferable, but still, it's been getting problematic in the last few weeks. And it shouldn't.

I have an iPad Mini Series 2, somewhat old and definitely underpowered with only 16 gig of RAM. And Computerworld.com has so much crap on their web site, very badly designed pages, that it frequently crashes the page and forces reloads. I think they've let layer upon layer of cruft build up, it's just a horrible mess.

People should design like the page is going over a 28.8k modem.

I try to keep my home page at ncf.ca that way. The HTML coding is certainly years behind the times, but it works as far as I can tell for all who visit from wherever on or off the Earth they may do so.
