I hope to see some discussion with Jody Wilson-Raybould in connection with her new book tonight after work. I might have some distant hope of thanking her for making "crime comics" stop being a thing back when she was federal justice minister.

The weekend, I expect, will be busy for other (chores and shopping) reasons.

Still getting used to the new O-Train line. I do wish that it went to Place d'Orléans Mall, but that won't be for another three or four years. Even though one of the construction camps is being set up now at the Queensway/Montréal Road AKA St. Joseph Boulevard interchange now.

What did you think of JWR? I saw Tabby's response and I'm curious about yours.

I am somewhat impressed, though not currently fanatical about it. I've yet to read her book now that I have it.

Also, I was pleased that the event didn't get sucked into any of the ongoing multi-ring circuses. That may have been marked down to interviewer Paul Wells' refusal to let that happen.

If I was predicting, I think she's gonna get reelected.

She does have a fair chance of that happening.

Which is impressive - independent MPs often don't win.

I suspect that her voice is still needed in Parliament. And will be for some years to come.

I feel mistrustful of her. I'm not sure she did the wrong thing, but I wish she'd done it a different way.

Maybe I'm being naive.
