I was already planning to wake up at about 5 AM. Did NOT need the headache that actually woke me up about 30 minutes early.

Tell me about it, that's perhaps the biggest problem that I have going to Phoenix to see my parents, where I am right now. My dad is a retired plumber and gets up every frickin' day at about 5am. And my brother is usually up at that time. My dad is stone deaf in one ear and doesn't hear to well out the other. Pretty much every day I've managed to sleep in, but since we're heading home today, today's the day that I'm awake at 5:30. Stayed in bed 'till 6:30, then gave up and made myself breakfast and fed the pooches. 8:45 I'll head to Trader Joe's to plunder and then get ready to hit the road: they close the tunnel going up the mountain to home at 8pm, something about a zombie outbreak or something, so we have to get some early.

And since we're leaving because of the tunnel closure, I'll be doing almost all of the driving on 5 hours sleep! Magic 8 Ball foresees lots of caffeine in my future.
