I've been following some of the research into PTSD memory relief and cutting of associations. I'm pretty positive about it.

I have some problems with this article's title, it seems more than a little like misrepresentation of the actual science. I also frown on the fact that they didn't go into why memory issues in trauma and ptsd are such a problem (they are a big problem) and instead compared it to a sci-fi movie.

I also have some major issues with them using an "expert" that believes that ptsd is a good thing because it leads to growth. As far as I'm concerned, "experts" that suggest that can go fuck themselves. It is functionally equivalent to saying that we shouldn't "cure" poverty because it encourages people not to be lazy.
