Fighting Through the Ouch
Nov. 17th, 2010 02:39 pmWe've got a lot of crap coming down on a lot of people lately. Again. On a continuing basis.
I've been dealing with the tail-end of a...not sure if it's a flu bug, asthma, a cold, some combination thereof? Whatever it is, it's something that usually happens around this time of the season. It's painful(often), inconvenient(always), and...well, we won't dwell on the rest of that, okay? TMI turf, yes?
Despite this, I still managed to chase down day-job leads, promote Kagemono in one or three different places, and get some order back into the studio spaces of the basement again.
Not a bad way to spend a day.

Bad News, Good News
Nov. 12th, 2010 02:52 pmOn the one hand, I seem to have another bout of my recurring throat issues as of this morning. Time to load on the apple juice, echinacea and maybe a few Old Dutch potato chips(which I note are almost as heavy in vitamin C as the apple juice for all the salt issues they also have).
On the other,
jasonfranks just announced a major bit of good news yesterday.
We are goin' to press!

Details are over on Jason's LJ, right here!
Go have a look-see.

The Proper Fate of the Flu Virus
Oct. 15th, 2009 09:13 amShould only be to die. Die. DIE. Preferably in as quick and humiliating a fashion as can be devised for it.
(To any govt. officials scanning this posting anywhere on Earth, if you or someone in your families has suffered for the best part of a week from such affliction at any point, I suspect you will sympathize. Strongly.)

Hope for a Friend
Jan. 12th, 2007 09:13 amAn acquaintance of mine is in hospital. I consider her friendly, especially considering that we almost ended up publishing a comic book series together for a while there.
Her name is Leah Adezio. She goes by
pikachette hereabouts. I got word from
elaynetoo on Leah's situation yesterday.
Please do me and Elayne the favour of sending whatever good vibes you can in the general direction of Leah and her family.
