It's a rare occasion when I find myself in disagreement with Rick Mercer, and even then, he usually makes a certain degree of sense.

This time, though, Scott Vrooman speaks more sensibly.

I agree.

I think covering every shopping mall and factory roof with solar panels would be a far better thing to do than digging a trench and filling it with pipe. Lots of jobs, less risk of spills, and far better for the environment.

Of course, I'm biased, as my factory makes solar panels.
