One of the first things I did when taking on the gig at Comics and Animation Canada was design a couple of logos. Took a bit of doing in CorelDRAW, but it was worth the time, I think... How about you?
The second item is the animator's disk, something that every traditional-method animator works with at some point or another. Usually mounted into the drawing table of animators, it's an old, old tool of the profession.
So far as I know, the computer hasn't yet completely eliminated the sweat that goes with this not-so-little gadget built into animators' drawing tables. As recently as this past year at Algonquin College, those desks with those discs built into them are still there, still being used.
