Warning re: "Hulu Plus" for GMail Users
Jan. 11th, 2015 08:27 pmFor those of you on my friendlist here who have GMail accounts: if any of you have gotten an e-mail - could've been today, could've been earlier in the week - from an outfit calling itself "Hulu Plus" claiming that you have subscribed to their TV-over-the-web service?
Scam. Scam. SCAM.
The clue for me was their getting the last four digits on my credit card wrong. And I sure as Hell didn't remember signing up with any such service in the first place.
So, heads up.
Actually, some of you may have gotten that spam-scam e-mail no matter what e-mail provider(s) you're using. Or may be about to receive it.
Again, heads up.
