Is anything like this project in Vancouver happening elsewhere in the world?

This would be good, as so many public storage lockers in stations were removed after 2001 for "security".

Agreed. It would be a good thing.

I remember such lockers being removed from places like the Rideau Centre before 2001, and I suspect that was the excuse given also. There may have been a legitimate point to that exercise, and might still be one today. I don't know for sure. But it strikes me that this is an issue that also ought to be addressed.
