At least Hickman saw a way for Wakanda to avert/plan ahead in order to keep the economic damage minimal in his FF/Fantastic Four stories.
Since he's the one putting T'Challa in the latest iteration of New Avengers, I wonder if he hasn't figured out a way for a (relatively) quick recovery as well.
I still want to see Namor held to account for what they wrote him into doing to Wakanda. Editorially intolerable, perhaps, but I want it anyway.
...yeah. I was commenting over at the Milestone group on Facebook about my being obtuse about this little detail.
And prying the big two loose from their current corporate parents isn't going to happen unless we have a major economic crash. In which case, everyone involved is going to have far greater problems at that point, aren't they?

They're quite capable of rebuilding their own country on their own terms, I suspect, but this is just...Wrong.
