- Does anyone else suspect that Greece's government should've followed Iceland's example rather than succumbing to the "Shock Doctrine" meme?

- I keep wanting to believe that someone somewhere is reading about the Toronto-London stock exchange merger falling through, cursing the news and muttering "We would've gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those meddling Canadians!" I've watched too many Scooby-Doo re-runs.

- Still thinking of continuing the riverfront walking tour this morning, unless suggestions are received before tomorrow morning. It's either that or just stay home and the latter doesn't sit well with me.

- More later after work, probably...

1) Alarming. I keep thinking that we're being softened up hereabouts for more dosages more often, partly thanks to the way CUPW vs. Canada Post and CAW vs. Air Canada were legislatively wrapped up.

2) Hopefully, this means that the pups are growing up.

A friend has forced Shock Doctrine onto me and keeps asking if I've read it yet, but I'm just not in the right headspace for it. I think I know most of what is said anyway, mind you.

I'll say this for it: Klein ends it on a hopeful note. I think she needed that herself as much as she knew that anyone reading it will as well.
