I hope that someone In Authority in BC sits up and Takes Notice. For them, the Big One is still pending. :-/

Apparently, there was a big kafuffle when someone (on Twitter) claimed that a CNN anchor had been going on about A Celebrity while showing pictures of the tsunami's effect. Turns out that the original tweet Lacked Punctuation (a comma) and was therefore generally mis-interpreted.

Perhaps a dose of this book (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eats,_Shoots_%26_Leaves) might have curbed this kind of thing ... or persuaded people to give up tweeting all together. :-)

Not just in British Columbia, I'd say. There are people in and around the New Madrid Seismic Zone who need a similar wake-up call.
