If anyone in Sarnia's reading this as of tonight? I hope things are getting better for you as I type this. I am remembering how crazy it was in Ottawa the night before the transit strike hereabouts a year or two ago, partly due to the snowfall levels...and...oy. Was not fun for us hereabouts then. Wishing you all well tonight.

(For anyone wondering why I speak to and of Sarnia tonight? Here's why.)

Seeing as I use pennies almost every time I buy something with cash, this Senate committee thing seems like an odd recommendation to me. In fact, I used pennies in three different purchases today that I can recall.

Something happened that I missed out on today: apparently Tony Clement and James Moore held a little "iPod tax" show at the Rideau Centre today.  Me? I don't know. Seeing as - being an occasional creator of entertainment/cultural content - I would like to someday be a beneficiary of such a levy, maybe it might behoove me to have to pay into the pot when I buy blank media of any sort of my own?

Wow are there a lot of dickish comments on the CBC story. "Stoopid Ontarians can't handle snow, hurr hurr!" Whatever.

That seems to be an ongoing problem on many - hopefully not all - articles where comments are enabled. And it seems to extend to the house weblog, insidethecbc.com, as well.
