Noises About Alpha Flight?

Seems like there are rumours in the air. And that special alternative cover for Avengers # 4 set for release at the Toronto Fan Expo...and Phil Jimenez has been cited as making hopeful noises in recent months.

To paraphrase Eugene Milton Judd:

I busted my buns to read Alpha Flight. I wanna read ALPHA FLIGHT!

Yeah, that cover's a beauty.

Something about duplicates that arose from the endings of either the second or third series comes to mind. My memory's more than a little vague at this point, years down the road.

But we may be seeing news releases within a short while. And Marvel will certainly be wanting to prime the PR/sales pump for the Fan Expo.

Marvel ALWAYS teases Alpha Flight at Fan Expo. Every year. Even though the last two years it was just a dumb gag: "Alpha Flight....is still dead."

So I can totally believe they'll announce the return of AF at Fan Expo.
