A note of congratulations, tempered

I've been hearing and reading the news on the bill that got passed States-side yesterday.

I know that there's going to be a long ways to go before you get this to where your country as a whole needs it to be. I know there's people bound and determined to put up a fight, no matter how senseless the fight will be and no matter why it'll be thus.

Civilization's worth it. Watching out for each other's worth it.
