An exercise in amusement, inspired by a series of Star Trek novels that I've been enjoying from the first installment almost five(?) years ago now. Alternative cover blurbs, the first of which was inspired by recent remarks by daytonward on his own LJ...

Huh. I've read the first book or two in that series, but it's been a while. I do recall being both entertained and intrigued. Time to re-read them, I think, and then get the others.
