Venting Publicly About Physiotherapy For a Moment

I should not have to set police and lawyers on someone else in order to get physiotherapy, dammit. No one else in similar straits should, either. They should be able to just take their prescription for such treatment to the appropriate clinic and get going without paying out of pocket.

Yes, I do expect that to come out of my OHIP premiums to Queens Park. (Adapt as needed to your home jurisdiction.)

Well, once upon a time-- possibly even in the last century-- physiotherapy was covered by OHIP but of course they lost too much money that way and cancelled it.

The provincial government decided that there was too much need for the service, then.

That need has not gone away.

Naturally not, and will only increase with an aging population. But the Cons were never about the greatest good for the greatest number.

Indeed, they are not. Not for a long time, sadly, however they see themselves in their mirrors.
