I was heading back to the bus stop to wait for my ride back to the house from today's visitation, and was not expecting to see this young deer munching on vegetation near the top of the ravine.

There they were, though.

Wow.

(Took me over a day to get the picture uploaded, and I apologize for that.)

I loved all the wildlife I'd get to see living in Eastern Tenneessee, though at least rural Scotland does afford some deer.

Last week I was driving up through town to home after hitting the post office box. There's this point where I pull an approx 160 degree turn to the final ascent to our house. And there were so many young deer between me and my ascent that I noped out, backed up, and went up a different route.

Well, I've encountered that problem on that specific stretch of road before.  Usually I'll sit and wait, won't honk my horn, and they'll eventually clear.  I just didn't feel like disturbing them.

This morning I watched two squirrels chase each other around in some mulberry trees. Less majestic, but still cool to see Nature doing its Nature thing.
