From the videos shown it is clear that is exactly what the snow plow operator was doing instead of immediately trucking it off the building.My guess is they (the private company) was overwhelmed in a hurry or simply wanted to "save" money and hired someone not skilled in this type of work. As it happens the parking garage was due to be demolished anyway as they are re-developing the lot.I'd think there may be a lawsuit still. There is a Mastodon thread with a snowplow operator agreeing with my guess (https://ottawa.place/deck/@alison@mastodon.online/114072989311264454). Still, the experts will tell us when they finish looking at it.
