Half of my friendlist here, Larry Nemecek, TrekBBS and CBC Web News have all confirmed it by now.

I never got to meet her or even watch her live on a stage anywhere, as far as I can recall right now. Saw lots of her work on TV, though, and respected it.

And I'm sorry that work's done now.

Definitely. She was a driving force among Trekkers, as I understood it.

I also never met her in person, but as a Trek viewer for decades I also saw her on screen a lot, as well as always hearing her as the voice of the computers.

Now she's with Gene.
