Job search continues this morning.  Also, I've got the TV tuned to CBC News for the installation ceremony of Mary Simon/Ningiukudluk as Governor-General of Canada. Watching today's Ottawa Police Services Board meeting will have to wait for tomorrow, probably. Especially if I take in the Zoom meeting of the Ottawa Science-Fiction Society tonight after supper.

Maybe I go get that second vaccination dose tomorrow.

Was just reading about the concept this morning via Window on Eurasia.

Wikipedia's heard of it, and if I ever did, I'd forgotten.

(Of course, the argument can be made that Canada's holding various nations captive. With some cause.)

Closing Out Today

I wanted to see Levar Burton's debut as host of Jeopardy today. Missed that.

I DID get to see Mary Simon's installation as Canada's new Governor-General.

I guess I was batting .500 for culture-shaping events today.
