The word is "Stable". This is good. Next appointment is in August.

As for the ultrasound test, yes, there was goop - not the kind as trademarked by Gwyneth Paltrow, so far as I know - applied to the eyelid, which I had to keep closed for the purposes of the test. My open eye was expected to track a little red LED wand held by one of the technicians. I had to sit in what looked like a modified barber's chair for this.

(I suspect that the same people who make barber's chairs also supply eye doctors.)

I'm not sure that I can see what the fuss is about.

Wondering if it printed in last Saturday's Toronto Star hardcopy edition intact. (The Star prints Sunday strips on Saturdays as a rule.)

Follow-up: I just checked. Confirmed. It got through Toronto Star editorial scrutiny.
