The word is "Stable". This is good. Next appointment is in August.

As for the ultrasound test, yes, there was goop - not the kind as trademarked by Gwyneth Paltrow, so far as I know - applied to the eyelid, which I had to keep closed for the purposes of the test. My open eye was expected to track a little red LED wand held by one of the technicians. I had to sit in what looked like a modified barber's chair for this.

(I suspect that the same people who make barber's chairs also supply eye doctors.)

Well, there wasn't much of it to deal with, and those particular tests were done in about five minutes or so. And it led to that "stable" result and pushing back the next check-up to August.

Yay! Stable is good! I was curious how they'd goop your eye (and I'm glad Gwyneth wasn't involved) and it makes sense that they'd just have you close your eye.
