Date: 2024-07-12 05:45 am (UTC)Voltaren is likely just a pain mask. So be careful with what you do while using it. "It feels better" can lead to doing more and making things worse. (Something I was guilty of with some injuries)
If I'm reading wikipedia correctly, this may be a case where ice can help things. A bag of ice in the right place for 15 min or so, along with a thin towel to moderate the cold can do a lot; esp when used every couple hrs. Now cold can tighten things up but it can also do a bang up job with pain and inflammation.
Not sure about xray. MRI is what shows soft tissue. But Drs seem to be able to infer the soft tissue on xrays sometimes.
